The enone has also been used as the starting material for the synthesis of dehydrofukinone (590), hydroxyeremophilone (602), 9,10-dehydrofuranoer-emophilane (603), lOa-furanoeremophilone (604), and 9,10-dehydrofuranoer-emophil-l-one (605).  [Pg.78]

Full details of the synthesis of (+)-nootkatone (606) from (+)-nopinone (607) have been described. The rearranged eremophilane phenol cinalbicol (608) has also been synthesized.  [Pg.79]
