An experimental arrangement, very similar to that developed by Wang, Kwei and Zupkol4 was used for the formation of an adhesive bond between plates of polycarbonate and epoxy resin. The mould is shown in Figure 1. In order to form the joint, the polycarbonate sheet is clamped at the bottom of the mould and the liquid adhesive poured into the mould and allowed to cure. Before bond formation, the polycarbonate surface was treated in exactly the same way as for the previous experiments. [Pg.551]
