Epilentinic acid

An epimer, epilentinic acid, is isolated from other aromatic fungi such as Micromphale foetidum, M. cau-vetii, and Collybia impudica. Mp. 221 °C, [a] -1-58.8 (0.1 m NaHCO,). 

Epilentinic acid, a diastereoisomer of lentinic acid (Table 4, compare Section V. 7) has been isolated free from lentinic acid from Micromphale cauvetii, M. foetidum and Collybia impudica 397).
