Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay miniaturization

The important trend of assay parallelization (similarly to the ELISAs (enzyme linked immunosorbent assays) performed in microtiter plates) has increased the use of miniaturized electrodes and, film electrodes, especially those fabricated by screen-printed technology are widespreading. By their importance, these will be discussed in a separate section.
