Enumerate type package

The function converts the enumerated type tap states defined above to "String so that one can then use the write procedure from the textio --package. 

An enumeration type is a set of identifiers or characters that each represent a unique numeric value. The following predefined enumeration types are stored in the STANDARD package. 

An ambiguous statement can arise if it is not possible to determine which enumeration type is being used. One consequence of this is tfiat the syntihesizer may not be able to determine which version of a subprogram is being called. This often occurs when a function or operator has been overloaded. Consider the package PARITY FUNCTIONS 2 shown below.

Baeza et al. (1992) have developed ESPEC a set of programs especially designed to undertake gamma spectrometric analyses of environmental samples. The processes enumerated above (a-e) are carried out in a simple form. The package is designed so that it can be implemented not only on an IBM-type personal computer, but even on one with less memory and lower performance, such as a 64 kbyte memory microcomputer. The code is written in BASIC and it is easily modified to suit the specifications of any multichannel analyzers. 

Poison gases with an LC50 that is less than 200 ppm are listed by DOT as Poison Gas, Hazard Zone A and extremely poisonous by inhalation. Special packaging requirements are enumerated by DOT for these gases. Specific information on the safe handling of gases of this type is provided in the individual gas monographs. 

SUB" is an enumeration literal defined in type "CHARACTER" in the package "STANDARD" which is implicitly visible in all VHDL designs. Since this definition as well as the component declaration for "SUB" are both visible in the code, a homograph is reported. You can explicitly avoid this ambiguity as follows... 

Table 1 shows the set of chip packages considered in the experimentation. Table 2 shows the best designs found for each set of experiments. The type of heuristic used for a given run is shown under the field called H. E is the limited enumeration heuristic and I is the iterative heuristic results. All CPU times reported in Table 2 are in seconds on a Solbourne Series 5e/900 (Sun 4 compatible).
