Entering Subscripts and Superscripts

You can enter subscripts and superscripts in text, as in Figure 1-27. First, highlight the characters to be subscripted or superscripted. Choose the Font tab in the Format Cells dialog box, check the Subscript or Superscript check box (see Figure 1-25), press the OK button, then enter the text by pressing the ENTER key or the Enter button.
