ENTED BARRELS

Following the severe bomb damage sustained by BSA at its Small Heath works in November, 1940, ui ent discussions were held with the MAP at which a plan was formulated for the removal of 20% of the company s Browning gun barrel capacity into the long-disused limestone caverns at Dudley. 400 men would work underground, and the company required... 

The rosnlt is sifted to remove crushed fra ents and dust. The cubM are dusted and are rounded olf in the glazing op erationp which is done in barrels holding 400 lbs. oacb. The barrel makes 40 revolutions per minute, and 0.5 os. 

E ents are correlated if the outcome of one depends on the outcome of the other. For example, if it rains on days a year, the probability of r lin is i6/365 O.l. But if it rains on 50% of the da>s when you see dark clouds, then the probability of observing rain (c ent B) depends upon, or is conditional upon, the appearance of dark clouds (event yl).
