Enigma of King Solomons Temple

Although there were many older temples on Mount Zion, Jewish and Biblical scholars consider King Solomon s Temple the First Temple of Jemsalem. 

King Cyms of Persia later returned the descendants of these Israelites to Israel in 538BCE. He financed the constmction of the Second Temple by Zembbabel, albeit in an austere style. The name Zembbabel actually means Children of Israel and is probably an archetype. The Jews completed the Second Temple in 515BCE. It operated until 169BCE when plundered by Antiochus TV Epiphanes, the Illustrious. He allegedly removed both the visible and hidden treasures. 

The Jewish chronicler Flavius Josephus and Roman historian Tacitus both wrote that Titus had not wanted to destroy the Third Temple. They did so because after heavily fortifying the temple, the Zealots fervently defended it.  

The Romans continued to systematically quash the Jewish uprising by eliminating Zealots in Jerusalem, Essenes in Qumran, the Zealots and Sicarii occupying Herod s Massada fortress and the entire Jewish population of Caesarea. 

Jewish militancy flared once more when Rabbi Akiva inspired a Maccabee revolt under the brilliant Jewish revolutionary leader Simon Bar Kochbar in 130CE. Simon Bar Kochbar was known as the Son of the Star. This name has the same meaning as that of Zoroaster and implies he
