J.Godwin s recent translation is based upon manuscripts which differ from the British Library manuscript but are nearly identical to one another. They are dated 1598 and 1708, from Rorschach and Hamburg respectively. This translation is illustrated with reproductions of engravings from the 1708 Hamburg edition, which differ in many substantive features from the 1582 Harley images. [Pg.183]
