In recent study, Hanid et al. (2014) developed the regenerated cellulose/halloy-sites (RC/HNT) nanocomposites with different nanofillers loading were fabricated by dissolving the cellulose in l-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (EMIMCl) ionic liquid. The X-ray diffractometer (XRD) patterns of the films revealed that characteristic diffraction angle was displayed at 2 = 12° corresponds to (1 lO) plane, while peak at 20 = 20.0° and 26 = 22.0° corresponded to (110) and (020) planes, respectively. In addition to AIMD simulation of bulk-phase ionic liquids, scientists have extended the simulation to mixed systems. Kirchner et al. studied a one-to-one mixture of EmimSCN and EmimCl. The results showed that the coordination of the anion to the most acidic hydrogen atoms in the system correlates with its basicity. The addition of the chloride anion has an important non-ideal influence on the complete system and changes the types of interactions present. Bhargava and Balasubramanian implemented an AIMD simulation of BmimPF6-C02 system. The results implied that the solvation of CO2 in Bmim PFg is primarily facilitated by the anion, as observed from the radial and spatial distribution functions. CO2 molecules were aligned tangent to the PFg spheres and were most probably located inside the octahedral voids of the anion. 

The combination of l-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (EMImCl) with AICI3 leads to the formation of a series of ionic liquids (x)EMImC-(l-x) AICI3. Acidic ionic liquids with an excess of AICI3 were found to be the most suitable for the electrodeposition of A1 coatings. Al2Cl7 complexes are the electrochemical active species in this electrolyte. 

In the present studies, aluminium coatings were electroplated from commercially available ionic liquids (provided by BASF) based on EMImCl-aluminium chloride (AICI3) at a molar ratio of 40 60. 

Two ionic liquids provided by BASF were used for the deposition of aluminium coatings, A102 and A103. Both ionic liquids are acidic compositions composed of EMImCl (40%) and AICI3 (60%) as EMImCl-...
