Electron-magnon interaction

The cyclotron masses in LaBe, CeBe and PrBe are summarized in table 5. All masses in CeBg are heavily renormalized by the many-body Kondo effect compared to those of LaBe and PrBe- The cyclotron masses in PrBe are also three times larger than those in LaBg, which should be attributed to the usual electron-magnon interaction. [Pg.35]

Mass enhancement due to the electron-magnon interaction in magnetically ordered compounds is large compared to the one due to the electron-phonon interaction. The mass enhancement factor is in the range of 1-2. [Pg.97]

Strong-force interaction (nuclear scattering) Magnetic interaction Position of nuclei in solid (lattice structure) Position and orientation of electronic magnetic moments in solids (ferromagnetism, antiferromagnetism) Lattice vibrations (phonons) Spin excitations (magnons, spin waves)... [Pg.665]
