PPTe is decomposed thermally under conditions significantly milder than PPS and PPSe. X-ray and electron diffraction studies of PPSe reveal a crystal structure isomorphous to that of PPS, while PPTe has a different structure. Analogous to PPS, exposure of PPSe to ASF5 results in an insulator-to-conductor transformation and structural cross-linking with a room temperature conductivity in the range 10 to 10 2 (ohm-crn)- - being reached. [Pg.461]
