Electroactive polyimide/clay nanocomposite

The corrosion protection properties of electroactive polyimide/clay nanocomposite (EPCN) coatings were investigated by a series of electrochemical measmements in 3.5wt% NaCl electrolyte. Gas barrier properties and redox behavior (i.e. electroactivity) of EPCN materials, in the form of membrane and coating, was identified by the studies of gas permeabihty analysis (GPA) and electrochemical cyclic voltarmnetry (CV), respectively. [Pg.345]
