Electrical gas sensors

In this section, the performances of electrical gas sensors based on SWCNTs are reviewed. Three types of gas sensors are introduced field-effect transistor based on individual SWCNT and chemiresistor or field-effect transistor based on SWCNT network. [Pg.358]

The most common gas sensors are electrical gas sensors, which are classified as potentiometric, amperometric, impedimetric, and conductometric, depending on which electrical signal is measured (voltage, current at a fixed applied potential, current at a sinusoidal applied potential, or resistance). Metal oxides, on which this chapter is focused, are typical conductometric gas sensors, and will be described later in more detail. [Pg.1174]
