Efficiency of monochromators

Note tfiat the quantum efficioicy is not constant over any reasonable range of wavelmgths. Hiis fact, coujded wdth the wavelength-d ndent efficiencies of monochromators, is the origin of the nonideal wavelengdi response of spectrofluorometers. 

Measure the true sample spectra that are fuUy corrected for the nonuniform spectral output of light sources and the wavelength-dependent efficiencies of monochromators and detectors.
