Ecdysteroids 3-dehydroecdysone

Wilson et al. (1981) reported that the recovery of ecdysones could be improved by the use of reversed-phase TLC plates (C2 Cg and Cig) Dinan et al. (1981) separated ecdysteroids on silica gel GF254 with continuous development for 2 h in the mobile phase chloroform-ethanol (9 2) the Rf values of the separated compounds were as follows 3-dehydroecdysone, 0.88 3-dehydro-20-hy-droxyecdysone, 0.77 3 epiecdysone, 0.53 ecdysone, 0.45, 3-epi-20 hydroxyec-dysone, 0.34 and 20-hydroxyecdysone, 0.28. Wilson et al. (1981) gave the Rf values of numerous ecdysteroids separated on three types (C2, Cg, and Cjg) of reversed-phase TLC plates mobile phases consisted of either 2-propanol-water or acetonitrile-water. [Pg.420]
