Dynatrol viscosity systems

Dynatrol Viscosity Systems are designed for continuous measurement of viscosity in process streams. Dynatrol Viscosity Detectors are installed directly in process vessels without the need for sampling or analysis. Response is immediate and continuous. Utilizing this system, we carried out a series of experiments to study the change in viscosity of polymer solutions when we introduced a change in polymer chain ends. 

Viscosity System. A Dynatrol viscosity system was purchased from Automation Products, Inc., Houston, Texas. The detector (Type CL-lODVT-4) is inserted in the vessel with the probe fully immersed in the process medium. The drive coil is excited at a frequency of 120 cps. This produces a pulsating magnetic field which causes the drive armature to vibrate at a frequency of 120 cps.
