Dream reports movement

The following dream report is rich in bizarreness, but it also illustrates the insistent movement of the dreamer through dream space. Whether I am in the hotel, the temple, or on a Vermont hillside, I am always moving, looking, noticing, or talking.

Melatonin appears to be well tolerated and is often used in preference to over-the-counter "sleep-aid" drugs. Although melatonin is associated with few adverse effects, some next-day drowsiness has been reported as well as tachycardia, depression, vivid dreams, and headache. Sporadic case reports of movement disorders and psychoses have also appeared. 

All human beings who have been studied in sleep labs have brain activation in sleep. Periods of brain activation during sleep are associated with rapid eye movements in the sleeper. These rapid eye movements give the brain-activated phase of sleep its name REM or rapid eye movement sleep. When awakened at the time of intense clusters of rapid eye movements, 95 per cent of sleepers studied in labs report dreaming. From this evidence, it is generally assumed that everyone does, in fact, dream in sleep any impression to the contrary is related to the difficulty recalling dreams. 

Advances in supramolecular chemistry has led to ingenious molecular architectures exhibiting unique binding, transpoit, and catalytic properties. Supramolecular architectures that reveal basic mechanical functions such as rotors and translational movement have been developed, and more complex assemblies also have been reported. However, to realize the nanotechttologists dreams of constructing complex devices, it is imperative that the supramolecular architectures exhibit external addressability and allow multidirectional communication with the macroscopic environment. 

REM sleep is characterized by a low-amplitnde, mixed-freqnency EEG, absence of mnscle tone, and bnrsts of bilateral rapid eye movements. Dreaming occnrs during REM sleep, and if an individual is awakened during or at the end of one of these periods, 80% to 90% can report the content of their dream. ...
