7 Dose-damage relationships and intergranular fracture in irradiated submerged-arc welds (SAWs) 

Further intensive investigations were performed of IGF and P segregation in many irradiated SAWs and on the influence of heat treatment effects in start-of-life samples. These showed that  

These observations meant that IGF could not be ignored in deriving DDRs for SAWs, and that the effects of IGF were probably unimportant for other materials. 

Following the closure of Trawsfynydd, the dose and temperature conditions at assessment locations on the remaining RPVs were covered by the existing surveillance data for a number of years without the need to include
