Many DTG printers use a flatbed or a shaped plate or platen to hold garments such as T-shirts in place. Running speed is the challenge for roll-to-roll machines, and for DTG printing, each item must be loaded and unloaded individually. Fabric softeners are safe for all washable fabrics. Some side effects are, however, possible in the case of misuse. For instance, pouring the softener directly onto garments may cause fabric staining while strongly overdosing the product may lead to a greasy feel and reduced affinity for water and/or to color alteration [ 15,31]. 

Dressing rooms and disinfecting facilities, for exclusive uses should be attached directly to the aseptic areas, and sterile garments should be provided. 

This weave pattern allowed for two stainless steel yams and four insulated tinsel wires to be woven into the fabric. As shown in Fig. 27.1, four insulated tinsel wires were used for the digital communications network and power, and two stainless steel wires were used to sense fabric compression [12,14]. Six rows of elastic were woven into the fabric in the weft direction to allow for the garment to stretch if necessary [ 14]. This fabric was woven on an automated, commercial dobby loom, with tinsel and stainless steel wires in both the warp and weft directions [14].
