Diorganotin Derivatives of Aldehydes and Ketones

This chapter reports 0-diorganotin derivatives of the tautomeric enol-form of aldehydes and ketones. The reader should always consult Chapter 2.6.3 3 to check for the corresponding Sn-C isomer in search for a certain compound. 

The diorganotin derivatives of aldehydes, ketones and diketones listed in Table I96 are prepared by methods from the following scheme. 

I Substitution reactions of diorganotin halide with sodiimi or thallium enoxide. 

Additional diorganotin derivatives containing acetal and alkoxide groups are listed in Subsection. 3-3-2.9 5
