Diorgano Tellurium Phenoxides

Diphenyl tellurium oxide and 2-formylphenol in methanol or 8-hydroxyquinolines in 2,2-dimethoxypropane yielded diphenyl tellurium diphenoxides. 

Diphenyl tellurium oxide and imines prepared from 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde and ethy-lenediamine reacted in benzene to produce a diphenyl tellurium phenoxide.  

Diaryl tellurium oxides and equimolar amounts of 2-hydroxybenzaldehydes produce bis[diaryl tellurium 2-formylphenoxide] oxides

From Diorgano Tellurium Dihalides and Sodium Alkoxides or Phenoxides... 

Diorgano tellurium dihalides react with sodium alkoxides in alkanols , sodium phenoxides sodium enolates" in benzene, and with oximates in methanol to yield diorgano tellurium dialkoxides and diphenoxides. 

Stirring diorgano tellurium diethoxides in a diethyl ether/pentane medium with the stoichiometrically required amounts of 1,2-dihydroxyethane, 1,3-dihydroxypropane, 2-hydroxyphenylmethanol, 1,2-dihydroxybenzene, 2,2 -dihydroxybiphenyl, 2,3-dihydroxy-naphthalene, or 4-methylphenol produced diorgano tellurium alkoxides and phenoxides. These compounds precipitated as white solids from the reaction mixtures or separated as oils that crystallized during storage at low temperatures. The products of the transesterification with diols could be oligomeric. The low solubility of these compounds prevented the determination of their molecular masses . 

Diaryl tellurium diphenoxides and an equimolar amount of a carboxylic acid in diethyl ether or benzene solution react to form diorgano tellurium earboxylate phenoxides ...
