Three additional lectins, obtained from Canavalia brasiliensis (ConBr), Dioclea violacea (DVioL), and Dioclea grandiflora (DGL), have all been found to stimulate T-cell activation and apoptosis in vivo, but they also produce important side effects, including inflammation associated with high endothelial venule necrosis [187].
