Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A DGEBPA

The precursor monomers used to build up a highly crosslinked network are shown in Scheme 1 and consist of diglycidyl ether of bisphenol-A (DGEBPA) and 2,2 -bis(4-amino-cyclohexyl)propane (PACP).

Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol A. The Hquid DGEBPA-based resins exhibit low acute toxicity with a single-dose oral LD q value in rats of >2000 mg/kg (40). The potential for absorption of DGEBPA through the skin in acutely toxic amounts is low.
