Dibromo-3-chloropropane and Acrylonitrile

Two other standards, l,2-Dibromo-3-chloropropane (DBCP—and Acrylonitrile (AN), 1910.1044 and 1910.1045, respectively, contain similar requirements for signs and labels. All regulated areas for DBCP must be posted with a sign bearing the legend  

2- Dibromo-3-chloropropane (insert appropriate trade or common names) 

Similarly, all workplaces, where acrylonitrile concentrations exceed the OSHA PELs of 2 parts per million (ppm) as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) or 10 ppm over any fifteen-minute period, shall be posted with a sign which indicates  

CANCER HAZARD AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY RESPIRATORS MAY BE REQUIRED 

Containers of DBCP, or products containng DBCP, must be labeled with the following warning
