With respect to extraction of atrazine herbicides and metabolites, the choice between Oasis HLB and LiChrolut EN cartridges proved to be in favor of LiChrolut EN [329] as well. As has been found. Oasis HLB does not retain the most polar metabolite, desisopropyl-2-hydroxyatrazine (DIHA), at all, and recovers only 10 and 18% desethyldesisopropylatrazine (DEDIA) and desethyl-2-hydroxyatrazine (DEHA), respectively. On the contrary, under the same conditions, LiChrolut EN exhibits 69% recovery for DEDIA and >90% recoveries for DEHA and DIHA.
