Demobilisation, clean-up and maintenance

When the actual construction activities are completed, the final phase of the project starts demobilization of the equipment and personnel, clean-up of the site and (if applicable) a maintenance period during which the Contractor is responsible for keeping the works as per Specifications. Note that maintenance of dredged areas (basins/channels) is often required during the construction as well. 

During this final phase, the Contractor will still require his lay-down area, housing and offices until all operations on site have been completed. This needs to be included in the planning.
