Trimethylamine dehydrogenase is an iron-sulfur flavoprotein found in the methylotrophic bacterium Methylophilus methylotrophus W3A1. It catalyzes the oxidative N-demethylation of trimethylamine by water with formation of dimethylamine and formaldehyde (Steenkamp and Mallinson, 1976).
