Deep mystery

A third hint of a connection between physics and information theory comes from the thermodynamics of Black Holes, which is still a deep mystery that embodies principles from quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics and general relativity. 

While this above state of affairs is decidedly counterintuitive, it has the virtue of simply and easily - at least in principle - accounting for one of the deep mysteries of quantum mechanics namely, an apparent noidocality as expressed by the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen gcdarikcn experiment [ein35] and Bell s theorem [bell64] (see discussion box). Finite nature implies that any system that is allowed to evolve from some distant initial state possesses causality in all space-time directions. This implies, in particular, that no part of space can be considered to be causally separated from another, and that therefore the DM universe will always harbor effects that cannot be attenuated by distance. 

An even deeper dilemma confronts an honest physicist when trying to understand what really happens during a quantum measurement. Despite using (macroscopically) intuitive descriptions of the quantum-entangled objects, what really happens remains a deep mystery. Or, consider the following simple thought experiment using CA. 

In this case, we must examine the effect of an asymmetrical explosion on the final result of the self-destruction of a very massive black hole, that is, the supernova remnant and black hole. Such asymmetrical supernovas may explain a fair number of gamma bursts, which have remained a deep mystery up to now. Beams and jets are more than ever in the news in astrophysics.

One took three different gauge theories, supplied them with some free parameters, added an ad hoc Higgs mechanism to make it work, and the result seems to function properly. It is not known exactly why those three symmetries create the three interactions although the U(l) symmetry is clearly related to the electromagnetic charge, the SU(2) to the weak isospin, and SU(3) to the three colors. It is not clear why there are exactly three fermion families and how the fermions of a family are related to each other (apart from the sum of their charges). It is not known why there is no antimatter in the Universe, and there is the deep mystery of dark matter astronomical observations indicate that about 90% of the mass of the Universe is invisible, probably non-baryonic matter that cannot be explained within the framework of the Standard Model (Amsler et al. 2008).
