Day Cisplatin Chemotherapy

Many chemotherapeutic regimens include cisplatin for 4 or 5 d. Concurrent intravenous ondansetron and dexamethasone in two studies prevented emesis in 58 and 66% of patients for the entire 5-d period (see Table 18.3).
