Davies, Paul Chapter 6

The final chapter of the book. Chapter 12 on modeling and computer simulation was added in the fourth edition. This chapter was written by Paul Gramann, Bruce Davis, and Tim Osswald three workers who have made substantial contributions to the development of this branch of polymer processing. Computer aided engineering (CAE) is now an integral part of extrusion engineering and a current book on extrusion would not be complete without dealing with this important subject.
