This new alkaloid (XIX) was found (27) in Datura cornigera Hook, and was also obtained on partial hydrolysis of the (— )-3a,6/3-ditigloyl-tropanediol (XX) found by the same team (28). The correct absolute configuration as 3R,6R follows from recent work on valeroidine (see Section III,B). [Pg.276]
