DANTE relaxation

The excitation sculpting method was expended to the selective inversion of z-magnetisation. The method utilises DANTE train of hard pulses combined with gradient suppression of transverse magnetisation. Application of the selective inversion to z-magnetisation reduces relaxation loses and extends selective methods to larger molecule. Use of shaped pulses in DANTE train produces band-selective inversion. The proposed inversion method can be... [Pg.290]

Carbon-13 spin diffusion has also been used to study the local structure of the system PC/di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP) [99]. DBP was enriched at one of the carbonyl sites. PC was studied at natural abundance. The schemes and principles of the pulse sequences are shown in Figure 6.14. The presence of spin diffusion is indicated by an accelerated decay rate of PC C magnetization in the DANTE (selective excitation) experiment relative to the decay rate in the simple spin-lattice relaxation experiment. Results thus... [Pg.226]
