Cyclohexane cross-sectional area

A cyclohexane-air mixture (0.01 mole fraction cyclohexane) is scrubbed with an oil (mole fraction cyclohexane of 0.003) at 30°C in a packed tower. The gas entering flow rate is 0.1713 m /sec. Liquid feed is 2.52 x 10 kmole/sec. Ninety percent of the cyclohexane is to be removed. Additional data kia andkco are 1.427 x 10 and 0.0633 kmole/m sec cross-sectional area of tower is 0.186 m. Find the height of packing required. 

Figure 2 shows a multiple-echo, intensity-weighted cyclohexane MRM image of a 300 pm cross-sectional slice of a 4 mm diameter coke bean. The density-weighted H images are collected with an unprocessed image resolution of 24 pm pixel"1. Since the coke is packed in wet gypsum, the area outside the coke shows very little cyclohexane intensity and appears black.
