I am indebted to my students who have worked in my lab on these projects and ideas over the years - in particular, Marcel Hollenstein, Christopher Hipolito, Curtis Lam, Jason Thomas, Jonathan May, Yoann Roupioz, Leonard Lermer, and Richard Ting. I am particularly thankful to Christopher Hipolito for help in writing on the background and selection of DNA polymerases and to both Christopher Hipolito and Curtis Lam in providing several figures contained herein. [Pg.30]
