5 CURRENT ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY STATUS FOR NANOPARTICLES 

The regulatory topic of the safety of nanoparticles is one that should be addressed. There have been a few published studies on the health and safety aspects of nanoparticles bnt no comprehensive stndies for aU possible nanoparticles in all possible exposnre scenarios, especially those relating to human health. There is a strong perception in both scientific and nonscientific circles that nanotechnology presents health and safety nnknowns, and care shonld be exercised with these materials, but there are some known factors associated with nanoparficle safety that can be addressed here.
