CtBP3/BARS (BARS) is a member of the CtBP family of proteins (Chinnadurai, 2002), and it was initially identified as the 50-kDa substrate of brefeldin A (BFA)-dependent ADP-ribosylation (De Matteis et al., 1994 Di Girolamo et al., 1995).
