Cryogenic method

Pressurized hydrogen vessels made of steel is too weighty to carry with cars, and liquefied hydrogen cryogenic method has no infrastructures yet. Metalhydrides is meritorious for Vd, but not for Wd-... [Pg.8]

Whereas low-temperature or cryogenic methods can be used to separate the nitrogen, this technology is expensive and is not commonly used. The use of selective adsorbents is emerging, and may prove economically viable. There is the possibility, however, that membrane separations may prove equally viable, an assessment yet... [Pg.677]

Adsorption on solids is another well-known method of capturing gases from a gas stream. A column of adsorbent materials such as molecular sieves, activated carbon, and zeolite capture CO2 on materials with high surface area. At high pressures, CO2 is removed from the gas stream, and at low pressure, the adsorbed CO2 is recovered. However, this method is usually low in capacity and often not very selective in the adsorption process. Cryogenic methods, while possible, are usually too expensive and are limited to purifying CO2 for specialty applications. [Pg.307]

In this chapter, we summarize the basic principle of TEM and three types of the typical specimen preparation techniques negative staining, freeze-fracture, and cryogenic methods. Then, TEM tomography showing the... [Pg.320]
