Extensive field trials with epibrassinolide were conducted by Takematsu s group over a several-year period. The results of the effect of epibrassinolide on growth and yield of several important crops such as wheat, rice, rapeseed and soybean were summarized in their recent paper (76). [Pg.280]

Field trial designs differ somewhat from each other in details but follow the same general principles. The GM crop and its control are planted in randomised blocks within a plot, often with three or four rephcate blocks each.
