Counts to Peak

Count/ring-down count/emission count the number of times within the duration, where one signal (waveform) exceeds a present threshold. In Fig. 4.1, nine counts are observed. Count is also employed to quantify the AE activity as well as hit . It is noted that counts depend strongly on the employed threshold and the operating frequency. Sometimes, counts between the triggering time over the threshold and the peak amplitude is referred to as Counts to Peak , which is equal to four in Fig. 4.1,...
