Coordination polymers thioether-based

Dembek et al. later prepared polyaromatic ethers and thioethers coordinated to pentamethylcyclopentadienylruthenium moieties (Scheme 11) The inherent viscosities of the polymer solutions (0.5%) were measiued in DMF to be between 0.52 and 1.49 dL/g. Lithium chloride was added to these ruthenium-based polymers (48) in order to suppress polyelectrolyte effects.
