Conversion from Interferogram to Spectrum

FT This function calculates a spectrum from an interferogram and thereby performs the same steps that are usually done immediately after data acquisition, namely  [Pg.104]

This procedure is helpful for transforming interferograms after measurement by allowing different parameters to be used for apodization, phase correction and zero-filling. Utilizing this procedure you can play with the Fourier transformation. [Pg.104]

The file entered on the first page of the appropriate dialog box has to be an interferogram (see Fig. 10.40). The data should lie between the High folding [Pg.104]

On the Store page (Fig. 10.41) specify the wavenumber range and the spectrum type to be saved. Notice that the calculated spectrum block always is of type Single-Channel In addition, one can also save the Phase spectrum and the Power spectrum, which can be calculated from the parts of the interferogram known from forward and backward scans with the Phase Resolution setting. [Pg.105]
