Configured libraries

In the above dialog box, the lower left pane shows that all configured libraries are selected. The left-center pane displays the parts contained in the selected libraries. Since all libraries are selected, the left-center pane will display all parts available to us. [Pg.7]

The same approach was readily adaptable to solid-phase synthesis. A small library of unnatural derivatives of 140 was prepared with variation of the configuration and nature of R1 and R4 and with substitution on the benzene ring <2000JC0186>. Three natural alkaloids, Verrucine A, B, and Anacine, were synthesized by a similar pathway and the pyrazino[2,l- ]quinazoline as opposed to the benzodiazepine structure of Anacine was proved <2001JNP1497>. Fiscalin B and other derivatives were prepared by solid-phase synthesis using polyethylene glycol (PEG) resin <2002USP6376667>. [Pg.276]

It isn t only chunks of code that can be made into reusable assets. Designs and specifications, too, can be separated into parts, which can be kept in a library and subsequently combined in many different configurations. We call them model frameworks. [Pg.364]

In this section, an example will be given in which a (small) library of a new type of cationic lipids was synthesized and screened for TE (63). For synthesis, combinatorial solid phase chemistry was used. All cationic lipids of the example library are structurally based on 3-methylamino-1,2-dihydroxy-propane as the polar, cationic lipid part. As nonpolar lipid part, different hydrocarbon chains are boimd to the amino group of the scaffold and the amino group was further methylated to get constantly cationic-charged lipids. Lipids were synthesized in both configurations and as racemats, and the counterions were varied as well. Table 1 summarizes the structural features of these lipids. [Pg.263]
