The comprehensive thermodynamic and exergetic analyses of all the processes modeled lead to the following conclusions for the individual technologies, which must be interpreted with respect to the boundary conditions and modeling limitations as described in Sections 5.6.3 and 5.6.4  

5) Because of its operation at dry ash conditions, the HTW gasifier shows the lowest losses with increasing ash content However, the poor carbon conversion limits its performance significantly.
