For path 2, the price (C ) for 21 klb/h letdown steam is the same as the HP steam, which is 13.6/klb. This is because MP in path 2 is directly generated through HP letdown. 

For path 3, the price (C ) is the BFW cost of 2.5/klb. Thus, the weighted average of the mixed MP steam price becomes 

LP steam price can be calculated in a similar way. There are three paths for making LP steam as identified previously. BFW desuperheating is not needed for the LP steam because the LP steam is near saturated.
