Commercial Microbial Inhibition Assays for Milk

The main focus of this chapter is on the commercially available screening tests for antimicrobial compounds, and the current state-of-the-art technology will be presented in the following sections. 

Since its original development in the 1970s the DelvoTest has been further refined to meet the customers requirements in terms of both detection capabilities and presentation of the test format. The current commercially available versions of the test are described below
