Comma-delimited files

Deposition of assay information is performed in two parts. Creation of a new assay involves providing a description, protocol, target, readouts, and other associated information using a web-form or via an XML file. After the assay description is completed, assay test results can be readily provided by using the standard CSV (i.e., comma delimited) file format. Assays provide outcomes for substances. 

A pop-up dialog box will ask where you want to save the file. Select Local Computer or SAS Server, as desired. Then a pop-up Export dialog box appears, where you select CSV (Comma delimited) as follows ...

NISPEC.DAT is a comma-delimited text file to be used with Excel s Data Parse or Text to Columns menu commands. 

Select the data file SilagepH and follow the instructions of the Text Import Wizard. The data are comma- delimited, therefore use Delimited, and as delimiter specify a Comma. The data should appear in your spreadsheet after you use the Finish key. 

Store the frame number of the single molecule, the values and errors for all parameters along with the peak number (or some other identifier) in a table, matrix, or a comma or tab delimited text file.
