Cobalt ions grafting

Polymers P-14-P-16 were formulated to examine the role of the metal ion coordination and template role in the coordination step. P-14 was formulated by grafting all three monomers onto the support beads in the absence of a cobalt center and template. The overall effect of this is a random distribution of monomers on the support. P-14 is catalytically inactive with respect to the hydrolysis of 23 (Table 5). [Pg.140]
