Clusters tellurolates

Calcined MCM-41 was dehydrated at 120°C under 10 3 torr for three hours. Different amounts of the copper tellurolate cluster I were then mixed with dehydrated MCM-41. The mixture was mechanically stirred under nitrogen at atmospheric pressure until a yellow homogeneous powder was obtained. TGA, PXRD and IR studies were then carried out. 

The bis[triphenylphosphoranylidene]ammonium salt of the anionic hydridoundecacar-bonyltriosmate cluster reacted with bis[4-methoxyphenyl] tellurium dichloridc in dichloro-methane to form in 7 percent yield a neutral triosmium cluster with one bridging 4-methoxybenzene tellurolate group2. 

When mercury bis[benzenetellurolate], bis[triorganophosphane]mercury perchlorate, and triorganophosphane were stirred in dichloromethane, chloroform, or acetone at 20°, cluster compounds of mercury containing tellurolate and phosphane ligands were formed2.

Silver Tellurium Clusters from Silylated Tellurolate Reagents 1321 AgCI + 2 PPr j + Te(Ph)SiMe3 EtjO. RT... 

This cluster represents the only example of a copper-telluride-tellurolate cluster yet isolated with a distinct structural relationship with its silver analog.
