Ciystal violet

At the end of the culture should a cell count be needed remove a measured aliquot of beads (e.g. 20 cc), add 100 ml of 0.1% citric acid and 0.2% Triton X-100, place on an orbital shaker (150 rev/min) at 37 C for 2 h. Collect supernatant, measure the volume, wash beads with PBS, add ciystal violet to the supernatant (0.1% final concentration), and cany out a nuclei count in a haemocytometer. [Pg.142]

Silver permanganate [7783-98-4] M 226.8, d 4 4.49. The salt forms violet ciystals which can be ciystalUsed from hot H2O (soluble is 9g/L at 20°). Store it in the dark. This oxidising agent is decomposed by light. [Lux... [Pg.608]

Is obtained similarly to compound V from 0,2 g (1 mmole) I and 3 mmole p-iodphenyldiazonium chloride solution. Yield 0.34 g (80%), violet ciystals. Tmeit 350°C (deeom.). RfO.6 (benzene-ether, 3 1). C20H13N4I. [Pg.192]
